Join Us
SUSS is a Sydney University student society, our members include students, professionals and experienced cavers. You do not need to be a student or affiliated with Sydney University to join the club. Membership is discounted for students.
Important notes:
- While you don’t need to need to be a student or affiliated with Sydney University to join the club. All SUSS members (student and non-student) are required to hold a current University of Sydney Union (USU) Membership.
- USU membership is free for current University of Sydney students. Cards for non-students are available for purchase online at the USU Website. Don’t forget that your USU Membership entitles you to benefits such as cheap movie tickets, retail discounts and so on, see the website for details.
- SUSS membership expires on March 31st each year
- USU membership expires on December 31st each year
How to become a member or renew your membership
You can sign up via the form here. Instructions are also included in the form.
Alternative sign up options
Option 1:
Pay by EFT to Sydney University Speleological Society, then fill out the form online and email it to the treasurer Lily Guo at lil233.lg@gmail.com including your payment reference.

Print out the membership form below, fill it out and post it to SUSS at the address listed on the top of the form with a cheque or money made out to Sydney University Speleological Society
* Why become a member
Club members have priority on registering for trips, if a trip fills up, non members will be asked to join or forfeit their place. If you have been or intend to come on multiple trips and live in Sydney it is reasonable to expect you to join. We charge $30 per trip for non-members, this can go towards full membership in that calendar year if you decide to do so later (so keep your receipts!).
